Shaping sacred space online

Dear friends,

If you follow me on Instagram, you may know I’m migrating from @sagablane to @sagaininthemaking. This isn’t a rebrand—it’s a shift in frequency. A return to the original channel. A release & a renewal.

@sagaininthemaking was born in 2015, in a dim cubicle in Midtown Manhattan. I was working in a corporate content agency, writing poems in secret. I created a page that was then called @medicinepoems—a hidden doorway for the parts of me that had never been witnessed. I posted channeled lines, small truths, and waited to see if anyone noticed. No one I personally knew was invited into that space. I gained 100 followers on the vibration of my words alone and something that needed to be seen was seen.

That moment broke the spell.

Those of you familiar with the Flow Form archetypes will recognize the Secret Garden in this: the archetype that protects what’s real until it is safe to do so. That account became a sanctuary. The truest part of me began to emerge—and be met.

That energy is still in that field, because I put it there.

That’s the current I’m choosing to cultivate now. Not an audience, not a platform. A frequency field for creative freedom and attuned resonance. I see myself walking backwards: yes, smaller is better, if it’s truly free. Yes, authentic connection is better than empty engagement.

Any kind of sovereignty - digital or otherwise - begins when we name what we authentically want and start to shape our own domain. (Digital Sovereignty workshop coming up April 22nd for more).

At one point, I deleted all those original poems and began to play around, making strange internet collages like this one and titling the page @sagainthemaking as an altar to the creative process.

@sagablane, in contrast, has grown dense. It holds lifetimes of identity: childhood, Finland, France, Edinburgh, New York, WPP, Yale, spirit medicine, marketing, architecture. Friends. Family. Ghosts.

Every time I speak there now, it feels like I’m speaking to an echo chamber of old selves, like this one, found while doing the clear out:

And so I’m clearing it. Not abandoning, not erasing—clearing with consciousness. Feeding the past into the compost of what’s next. Gathering the threads, blessing them, and weaving something new.

On Digital Energetics

Every digital space—Instagram, Slack, Substack, text, Reddit, email—is an energetic architecture. These platforms are not neutral. They shape us and we shape them.

Some of us feel this deeply.

I’m extremely sensitive to the frequency of ideas. When someone speaks from distortion, I feel it—even if they are talking about the weather. This is the core of my work in brand readings: tuning into the ideas and patterns and vibrations beneath the words that are spoken. Recognizing what is truth and what is not.

It took me years to realize that my media sensitivity wasn’t fragility—it was clarity. I don’t need to consume everything. I had to rewire what it meant to be informed, to be responsible, to be connected.

If you’re the same, this is your reminder: your nervous system is a sacred instrument. You don’t need to force it into channels that flatten or fragment your signal. Actually, we need you clear: tuning out the noise and tuning into truth.

This is what I mean when I speak of digital energetics: how we attune to and co-create the frequency of our online spaces.

I’m building a new space. Quietly. Carefully.
A place where my deeper transmissions can land—unfiltered, attuned, alive.
It doesn’t yet have a public name. It’s not ready to be seen. But it’s growing roots.

When it’s time, I’ll open the gate.
